Linda Pierce, age 71, of Lansing, Kansas, and formerly of Breda, Iowa, died Sunday, December 6, 2020, at Twin Oaks Assisted Living in Lansing, Kansas. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 12, 2020, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Breda. The celebrant will be Fr. Timothy Friedrichsen. Jerome “Jerry” M. Becker, age 80, of Glidden, IA, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020, at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll, IA.     Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, December 11, 2020, at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Glidden with Fr. Timothy Pick as Celebrant. Burial will be in the Merle Hay Memorial Cemetery near Glidden.

Gina Marie Tiefenthaler, age 57, of West Des Moines, died after weeks of battling COVID-19 on Friday, December 4, 2020, at UnityPoint Health, Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. There will be a private family burial on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at St. Bernard’s Cemetery in Breda, with a Celebration of Life Mass for family and friends in 2021, at a date to be determined.
