Donna Riesselman, 85 of Halbur, died on Friday, October 4, 2019 at St. Anthony Regional Hospital surrounded by her family. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 10, 2019 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Halbur. Friends may call at St. Augustine Church in Halbur after 4 p.m. on Wednesday where there will be a rosary prayed at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will resume at the church from 9:30 until 10:15 a.m. Thursday morning.

   Sterling Sebern “Rusty” Franzwa, age 86, formerly of Glidden, Iowa, passed away on September 8, 2019 in Basehor, KS, surrounded by his children.  Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 5, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Glidden, IA, with Fr. Timothy Schott as Celebrant. Burial will be in the Merle Hay Memorial Cemetery near Glidden.

Marian Schmitz, age 89, of Arcadia, died Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday, August 30, 2019, at St. John’s Catholic Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held at St. John’s Church from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Friday.
