Glenn Koster, 67 of West Des Moines, and formerly of Breda, died Friday, January 3, 2020. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Breda.

High School Students (ages 16+) and Young Adult Women from the Diocese of Sioux City are invited to work with the Handmaids of the Heart of Jesus helping them prepare to open their new convent in Minneapolis. Accommodations in Minneapolis will be provided free of charge. St Bernard Bingo Family Fun Night - Sunday, November 17 @ Breda American Legion Hall

Come one, come all! Sacred Heart Parish is sponsoring this chicken dinner on Sunday, November 17th at the Templeton Center. The serving time is from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The meal includes Staley's chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, a variety of salads, a dinner roll and dessert. Adult $10 Children(4-10) $5 Children 3 and under are FREE. Many thanks to the parish family of St. Augustine for another successful soup supper and raffle on Saturday, Nov. 10th!! The food and hospitality were great. A total of 476 meals were served for patrons who chose to dine in the St. Augustine gymnasium or take-out. Special thanks to the parish Ladies Guild and all volunteers for coordinating and working at another successful parish event.
