Philip Collison, 73 of Arcadia, died Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at his home near Arcadia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at St. John Catholic Church in Arcadia. The Celebrant will be Fr. Timothy Friedrichsen. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery in Arcadia with Military Honors conducted by the Arcadia American Legion.

Robert Leiting, 80 of Carroll, died early Thursday morning, September 10, 2020, at the Friendship Home in the memory care unit in Audubon, Iowa. ​​​​​​​ A private family Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 19, 2020, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Arcadia. The Celebrant will be the Most Rev. R. Walker Nickless, Bishop of the Diocese of Sioux City.

Paul Pawletzki Paul Denis Pawletzki, 78 of Carroll, Iowa passed away on April 17, 2020 in Des Moines Iowa. A private family funeral service will be held at Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2020. Officiating will be Fr. Tim Friedrichsen. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Maple River with military honors conducted by the Arcadia American Legion.

Kuemper Catholic Schools are closed through April 13, 2020, due to the recommendation of the Governor of the State of Iowa to flatten the curve of the coronavirus health crisis.
